brain freeze for Chef Mic

I lurk on these boards all the time...and LOVE the layouts that everyone shares!!!
My hubby has been laid off over a year now...and we have always been to Disney every other year...and yes, this is our year...BUT Since we can't afford to go this year, I thought it would be lots of fun to scrap our 2008 trip since it has very special meaning to us and our 2 kiddos! On that note.....I can not come up with ANYTHING creative! Does anyone have layouts they would like to share on this thread or any Chef Mic suggestions? The more creative the better!

I photocopied the back of the old frame from the plate pictures and added that for journalling. I can type it if you want to have the lyrics (it's the song they play while spinning the napkins)
the paper is from Michael's. Ignore the orange paper, I don't show the kids pics online.

Buffy... that is so simple and beautiful! Puts mine to shame.. I love that dinner SO MUCH that I overthink it when it is time to scrap it and end up with a mess. I do have a few pages that I might not be embarrassed to share though! I'll try to get them up later........P

I find it hard to scrap this meal because there are so many colors, you have to be careful with your paper selections.

And at that point DH was still cropping with the camera, so it's hard to squeeze all the pics in.

I like that, too - so clean and simple. I punch squares all the time - WHY have I never thought to use them in that manner????

It has been a while so I don't remember where I got it (They might not still sell it in stores?) It was Jolee's though. I bet if you look on ebay or an on-line scrapbook store you will still be able to find it?? I just googled "jolee's kiss the cook" and a lot of options came up.

We just went to Chef Mickeys for the first time last week and the puzzle pieces on the wall really popped out at me. I use a lot of CM tools and think that the new puzzle punch will be perfect for my Chef Mickey pages.

That is a very generous offer, but I'll say no. I won't be scrapping another Chef Mickey's meal for a few years now (I am running a solid 4 1/2 years behind in my scrapping), so I'd probably misplace it in all that time! Thanks so much for thinking of me though!..........P
