Braiding??

Ok I am not sure where to post this as this is something new to me. I have read in other forums on DISboards about Hair Wrapping which i understand can be done at the waterparks and resorts. I have seen mention that some of the salons on property do hair braiding. I am not a Hair stylist so I don't know the answer but maybe someone here will.


If I choose to spend the $$ for the hair braiding at the salon how long does your hair have to be?

Sorry if this is off topic but I have had hair wraps when i was a teenager but I would love to have my hair braided.

We have gotten my girl's hair wrapped/braided at our resort pool as well as right outside the Pirates of the Carribean. I believe if you are only getting it "wrapped" with colored string, it can be as little as 1" - 2". A braid would probably need to be longer. My youngest daughter -age 4- has the shortest hair of all of us (a chin-length bob) and it stayed in until January!--we were there the 3rd week in September--we got our $$ worth!!
