Boys' night out ... they want huge steaks. Where to go?

DH's idea of a steak dinner is one where he can eat a 48 oz Porterhouse or some such thing, with a side of broccoli. He doesn't just want a regular filet or strip with the potatoes etc. that is on most menus.

From looking at the menus it would seem that Shula's and Yachtsman have a wide variety of cuts and sizes, and sides are ordered separately - just up his alley. It will be 4 men, no women or children, and all are staying at BCV or Dolphin, so the whole Epcot resort area is handy. I know they will be having drinks, so a place within walking distance has a huge advantage. Plus, they might quite like to pop into Kimonos at the Swan for a small sushi appetizer first.

So, what would you all suggest? My gut feeling is Shula's - it just seems classy, manly and the menu is perfect, but it isn't cheap. Given what he would order, Yachtsman isn't that much cheaper really, so I guess it will come down to best atmosphere for a boys' night out, and best steak flavours.

Which would you choose? Any other contenders than what I have mentioned already? We don't want an in-park restaurant, and we're not on any dining plan.

I would recommend Shula's... LOTS of options and despite the price it soudnds like it is just what they are looking for. Between S&D there are several options for before/after dinner drinks too. We like getting drinks at the bar at Bluezoo.

Both Shula's and Yachtsman are quality steak restaurants. Both are close to the Boardwalk for post meal drinks at either ESPN Club or Jellyrolls. They really can't go wrong with either place.

But if I had to choose for them, I would go with Shula's. The food is a touch better, plus if they are football fans it is Don Shula's restuarant.

I was also going to say Shula's although I have never been to the one in Orlando, the one in Key West was great so I am sure the one in WDW is too.

Another vote for Shula's. Nothing is more manly than your menu being printed on a football. Plus the steaks are delicious!

Our favorite restaurant is Yachtsman! We also like Big River Grille for drinks. Either way I'm sure it'll be good!!

Here's another vote for Shula's. Apart from the great steaks it has the decor and feel of real steak house. The guys will really enjoy it.

Darn, you already made up your mind....I was going to vote for Yachtsman!! My DH had the porterhouse there, and it was beyond awesome.
