Hi everyone:
I just wanted to mention that I bought DS11 a few pair of pants the other day. Coincidently, three of them were "Lee" brand. Two pair were Lee Pipes, and one pair was just a pair of Lee painter's paints jeans. They all had this cool "Sure2Fit" waist thing inside though! Its an adjustable elastic thing inside the waist of the jeans. From the outside, the jeans look totally normal, you can't see the elastic on the inside at all. It's simple to adjust the waist, there are 2 tiny buttons inside, one on each side of the waist, and the elastic has a button hole every 1/4".
I'm mentioning it now because I remember about a month ago, I saw some threads from moms who were having a hard time buying pants for their kids. Neither of my DSs could ever be called "thin", DS11 wears "Husky"...lol....so sometimes buying them pants have been a challenge. But DS11 LOVES these new pants of his! The jeans are big enough and comfortable for him, and we were able to make the waist a bit smaller, so that there was no gap at all. When he first put the jeans on, they fit nicely everywhere, but there was a small gap in the back of the waist. Once we adjusted the inside, the gap disappeared totally. I think these pants would be good for thin kids and even average kids, because of how adjustable they are.
P.S. These particulars pants ran between $24.99-$34.99, but were on sale at Sears!
I also saw them on sale at Bob's Stores yesterday.
P.P.S. I wish they made this type of waist in lady's pants!
