Do boys under 10 enjoy eating at Cindy's or are they just embarrassed? I am thinking about Donald's Restaurantsauras, but if you have any other suggestions...?

My two boys aged 11 and 9 ate breakfast at Cindy's last Christmas morning and they were perfectly happy with it. I don't think it occured to them that it was a girly thing. I didn't mention that aspect and they were just pleased to meet some different characters and enjoy the surroundings.

My son at that age was actively UNinterested in princesses, so we took him to lunch at the castle instead. We ate around 3pm and it was very quiet and dignified. He and his cousin LOVED it! They could look around at the armor and other stuff and even got some quality time with the Fairy Godmother, who sprinkled them with pixie dust (which my son secretly saved!). I would highly recommend lunch (or dinner) for boys -- they still get to see the inside of the castle and there are no princesses around to "spoil"things!

I would love to know the answer to this also, or how about the Princess breakfast at Epcot. Anyone have boys (mine is seven) that enjoyed it? I want my little girl (almost five) to see the princesses up close and personal, it is the perfect time for her to see them, I know she would love it! But, I don't want to torture my son, LOL. Any input? Are there any prince characters?

We were at the Princess Breakfast in Norway a couple of weeks ago. All of the characters were female (Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White, Belle, and Minnie Mounse) when we were there. I'm not sure whether princes are ever on that scene. I didn't notice a whole lot of boys in the dining room.

AT nine my DS was OK with the princesses. He did not like the kiss from Snow White, or at least pretended not to. He does quite enjoy lunch at the castle. He much prefers donald's to the princesses. He also does not care for the pooh characters any more. He will be 11 on our next trip and we are cutting back on our character meals. He still wants to do donald's every trip and we are going to do Liberty Tree this time also. He says he will do the castle breakfast for his mom. As he is growing up, his taste in resturants are starting to change. He like Rainforest cafe alot and has asked for California Grill this time.

I have 2 sons and 2 daughters. We've done CRT 3 times and the boys enjoyed it as much as the girls. The boys have never said they didn't want to go or didn't like being there.
