DBF's b-day is Jan. 12th. We're planning to spend the day in Epcot with lunch at Teppanyaki and dinner at Le Cellier (his fave). What else can I do to make it extra special? Any ideas?

Make sure you stop at Guest Services on your way into the park and ask for a birthday pin, he will be wished Happy Birthday throughout the day by CM's and guest alike.

Two years ago I did an Illuminations cruise for my DBF - had no clue even with the Happy Birthday banner on the side until I told him. Had my bro & sil and 3 other DIS couples join us.

Also, how about a carriage ride at either FW or PO? Take the later one at FW and you can see the ELP from the beach - very romantic!!

Let your resort know that it's a birthday. They "may" do something nice like have balloons and a card from his favorite character delivered to the room. You can also call the restaurants where you have ADR's and pre-order a cake to be delivered to your table. They are YUMMY!

We are going next week, and I'm taking Jeff to Cirque du Soleil <<La Nouba>> for his birthday, and also for dinner at San Angel Inn in Mexico.

PLUS I made him an "It's My Birthday!" Shirt with Mushu (one of his favs) on it. Look for us on Thursday November 3 because I am making him wear the shirt! We'll be at AK for the day!

Thanks for the great ideas! I think I'll pre-order a cake and tell the resort. We've already done the Segway Tour and seen Cirque (just last trip). I don't know if he'd been into wearing a pin. Eh. I'll try!
