Boy made up story of assault in Orlando hotel...

Read another thread about the assault earlier so I thought you might want to know....Just read online in the Orlando Sentinal that the boy that said he was sexually assaulted at the Marriott resort in Orlando confesses that he made it all up. Not much else said other than he is in need of counciling.

I feel really bad for the man he falsely accused. Hopefully his name didn't get out there.

Wow, I read the other thread too and felt really sad for the kid so I'm kinda relieved actually that he did make it up. I hope whoever is responsible for him finds out why he needed to make something like that up and they deal with it positively. I guess I'm assuming there never was a real man involved - I hope not as it would be terrible to falsely accuse someone of that.

you know... as soon as I read the story I immediately thought it was probably a hoax. I guess because there are just so many that turn out to be that way nowadays, that my cynical self immediately believes it's not true. I kept my mouth shut and feelings to myself just in case...

I'm glad he fessed up before it got too much farther.

why is it so hard to believe a 13 year old child could be overpowered?

Full grown adult women are overpowered on a daily basis

People get overpowered all the time, overpowered, intimidated, threatened. It's not unbelievable that a child would be in this situation.

I am startled by such an blatantly needy cry for help. To lie about something like that? Wow, that kid needs help.

Grown men get raped too. I still think the parents are to some point in need of help as well. I am one too say parents shouldn't be held responable for teenagers but they do need to check into them to make sure all is well in there "happy" home.
