Box of Legos?

I read somewhere that you could buy a box of Lego parts sort of like you do the Mr. Potato Head items? Might that be true? My boys would be thrilled to have extras of the parts they fight over and so would I. LOL

I was at the DD Legos store last Tuesday. I did notice that they had one wall of loose lego bricks that you could pick and choose the bricks that you wanted. They were sold in containers(somewhat like the deli containers you get pot salad in) 2 sizes- I think it was 6.99 for the small cont.
Is that what you were looking for?

Were they just the bricks? I have loads of bricks but it is the hingles, wheels and specialty parts that my grands fight over. It is $40 or more to buy a bag of wheels and axles on the Lego site. I still have Lego's from my sons childhood. Saving them for great grands next, but not too soon. LOL

I think it is just the bricks....different colors and lenghts, but bricks none the less.

I was there the beginning of April and bought myself a cup of legos. They had wheels, fencing, and trees!!! They also had some unusual colors of legos....hot pink, light pink, purple, teal, grey, and even transparent red.

Hoping that I can at least get wheels on our trip. The grands are here now and wheels are in short supply, so is my patience. LOL

When we went last year in November my son was able to pick his own container of legos. They have different color legos that you usually dont see like bright pinks and pastel blue.

But I know that they did have wheels! He bought 4 wheels and the little connectors to go with them. Hope it helps!!!

You can pick and choose what you want!!!!!!!!! This was more fun for me than my son (LOL). Yes, this was at the store at Downtown Disney.

Just got back and am happy to report that I got a large container of Lego's including wheels and axles. Had to ask a young man to help me as I did not know what some of the items were. LOL I put small pieces into the bottom to fill that hole and then the bigger items filling in with small items as I went to get the maximum items for the cost. I think it was $13 for the bigger container.

They also had bags containing assorted pieces for $7. I picked a bag that had unusual shapes in it and my boys seem happy with my choices.

Anyone ever check out Lego.com? It is an awesome site with everything you ever wanted to see in that line and occasionally they have some items on sale.

We bought a larger container full. Wheels, tires, axels, bricks, steering wheels, just about all the little parts except people. Pack them very carefully so you can really fill it up.

Hi

I did not see any people while I was there. Wondering if the selection varies from time to time. I got a Lego catalog the other day. Just too many things that my boys will love. Got to get a job to pay for them all. LOL
