When I called Disney today to ask about a rumor I heard that dog will be allowed in the rooms at select resorts. (PORRS,AA,WL cabins, and two others).

My question is what about those of us who are allergic to all dogs ,cats, and other pets. Disney World has been our go to vacation spot for over 20yrs. We stay at PORS. When I called they told me that are going to be rooms where the dogs will not be allowed. That is good but at other "pet friendly" hotels when we have been put on no pet floors or wings there is always a dog in the room next door. The last time our trip included a trip to the hospital for my wife reaction to fur that was left on the bed. If people want to bring their dogs on vacation disney has a kennel that can be used. You can go visit fidio all day. This is the main reason my family stays away from universal. I hope that disney rethinks this policy change and think about people who has pet allergies. Are they going to be charging extra to have a dog or am I going have to pay to have mouse keeping scoop up poop. It not just our room and floor that has to be pet free if my wife and son get with in 100 feet of a dog or cat. Disney has done well with allowing for food allergies ,what about other allergens?
