When we first went on the Wonder a few years ago, they had this camera above deck ten that showed the bow of the ship and what the sky looked like. You could access this camera on your stateroom television, and it was very helpful to see what the weather was like in the morning. Two years ago on the Magic, the camera was gone. We're going on the Magic again on the western cruise--has the camera returned? Why did it disappear to begin with? Thanks.

I have never seen this camera and the last time I was on the Magic was this past January....:(

The camera was on the Magic in January and still there in May. We used to put that channel on at night because they played decent music along with it and it was great to see what was going on from the front of the ship.

It was there last week. Great if you have an inside stateroom.

Guess I need to pay attention! I will have to check it out in November!:)

It's your window to the outside world if you are in an inside cabin. We're inside cabin cruisers. LOL!

The camera has been there every time we've sailed on the Magic.

That camera has been there everytime we've sailed as well on both the Magic and the Wonder. It is called the view from the bridge and is one of DH's favorite channels.

Thanks, I'll have to remember that for next month, this was the first I ever heard about it!!!

The antenna that was used for the camera was being used for something else in 2001. That was according to Capt. Hans.

It is too bad that Disney cannot post this camera on the WEB like alot of the other cruiselines do!!
The views from some of the other ships in ports are great:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

On our 1st night on board I told my boys, ages 3 and 6 that I would wave to them on the T.V. as they were going to bed, I turned on that channel, ran up to the bow, where I was the only soul in sight (thank goodness) and got into position on the bow deck and began waving, jumping and blew them kisses goodnight! I then ran back up to the room where my wife said she heard what I was doing from the bathroom but didn't realize that I really could go up there and be on the T.V., she said the kids thought it was very cool, a neat way to top off the 1st day! Just a fun little freebie for the kids!
