Hi,

A few years ago, I was able to use the bounce back offer to extend our stay at WDW by a night.

Has this changed? I was doing some digging and it seemed as if the bounce back offers are now set for several months in the future (or I may have this completely wrong...)

We're staying in August and I could tack on an extra night. Am not tempted by the published rates and as a fall-back we could always jump off site or go to the Swan/Dolphin as we'll have a car with us. Just wondering if I'm likely to get a decent offer once I get checked in. This is for the end of August.

Thanks

I hope I understand what you are asking, or else my response won't be relevant. ;)

We were staying at the BC in February and on our last day, just before we were ready to check out of the resort, our flight got cancelled. I quickly booked a new flight out, but it didn't leave until 2 days later. I called the front desk and asked if we could extend our stay by two days. Luckily, they were able to give me the bounceback rate for the new booking but we had to switch to another room. There was only one room available for us, a handicapped room. I loved the shower and the rest of it was fine. And the view was better, too. :) It worked out great. :)

So if a bounceback deal is in effect for your trip dates, and there is a room available for the bounceback deal, then hopefully you will be able to get the discount if you add a day after you check in.

Thanks Sue - that's pretty much what I was asking for, except we'll be able to try and book something as soon as we arrive rather than having to leave it until the last minute :-)
