To book online, you need a MDE account. When you book thru your account, it makes you the lead guest. So to book in their name, you need access to their account.

I am well outside my booking windows. But I can check availability online, I just can’t finalize the change. There is a Change Reservation button with the reservation. I can click on that & check any dates I want. It just doesn’t go thru when I try to finalize the change. That’s when I have to call.

@focusondisney I will check my reservation. I called to book my BB reservations so I thought when you did that there wasn't a change button so you had to call. Maybe I missed it. I don’t understand why they are not offering the BB discount between 9/2 - 9/7 although it’s Labor Day those date typically have lower crowds. I have received discounts for those dates in the past..

The only difference from this year is that Labor Day was included this year. Friday to Sunday nights of LD weekends have been excluded since BBs resumed.

Edit to add… post 1 of this thread has the past BB discounts from 2019 on. Even in 2019 & 2020, room discounts excluded Labor Day weekend. Maybe you used some other discount.

The availability is sparse for a 1 bedroom (6 people; July or first week of Nov). It’s similar price if I booked 2 rooms at a deluxe (looking at Riviera or Animal Kingdom lodge savanna).

I've read if available, people can move them. Have to call.

We plan to move our October 2026 bounceback to April 2027 if a bounceback is available for 2027.

Just wanted to provide an update that as of yesterday I was finally able to see availability for dates at end of October 2026 (Oct 26 - Nov 1) for villas at DVC resorts, which didn't open up with the Nov 13 drop. As recently as Dec 1st those still weren't open (probably providing a few days cushion outside the 11 month window for DVC owners).

I modified a previously booked BB this morning to a BWV GPV 1 BR villa for all 5 of those nights. Still waiting on Dec 2026 villa availability to open up - assuming that will happen well into January, but I keep checking!
