Anyone else feel like the bounceback dates/availability are less than prior years?

With some small exceptions, dates have been very similar going back to pre-pandemic (note that bouncebacks were paused from 2020 through summer 2023). If you look at the picture of the 2020 bounceback dates that was offered in 2019, you can compare. For 2024 and 2025, they actually *added* dates that had been excluded previously. For example, they've added weekends in March and many dates in November and December.

In general, for the past few years, the dates that have the highest room occupancy are excluded. This is because they have no problem filling rooms. These excluded dates tend to be: WDW Marathon and other RUN Disney events, weekends in January and February, Easter, Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, Labor Day weekend, most of October, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NY.

Are the AoA standard rooms (not suites) included with Bounceback?

Very few rooms are "excluded", only campsites, 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows and Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. However, as with any offer, rooms that are not "excluded" may not be available with the discount.

I agree with @focusondisney and @vinotinto on their above posts. For me booking my resort for 2026 dates was better availability than last year Go figure. I did notice today they released the military discount for 2026. Hoping the November and December BB dates for 2026 are just a few days away too. Like already noted November 21st was last years date. Looking to add November 1st to my October trip so hoping it's one of the dates included again.

Of course they have. I literally spent 20 minutes on the phone changing 2 rooms *yesterday* that was to start in December 2025 that we won't be taking. I moved it to a placeholder date while I waited for the new dates to drop, LOL!

i tried to change ours but it's showing that all the resorts are booked. I'm assuming it's a glitch in the system, but am not sure

I don't think any of us have been able to actually modify it online, just be able to see resort and room availability.

I am able to see availability for the new dates when I click on modify. But, last time it took a couple of days for everything to be uploaded, so if you are not in a rush, wait a couple of days.

I moved my placeholder reservation to the December dates I really wanted but had to call to get it completed. Likely system overload online.

I was able to move my placeholder to Nov when I called. Very happy it all worked out!

Checked again just now and it's still showing not a single property available for our dates, I even tried changing the dates. Our actual dates are 11/27-12/5, and I thought maybe changing check-in to 11/28 (still lvng 12/5) would show something, but no. I'm going to call later. I also tried incognito mode and logging out and back in, nothing worked. I know there are a certain number of rooms allocated but I can't believe there's nothing available.

Yes @disneyjr77 I am having the same issue. I called to try and add a night onto my October 2026 trip and was told no availability. Can't believe they are all out of availability but I did have this issue last year also. I did eventually get it. I will just keep trying as frustrating as it is. If I don't have any luck it'll be Disneys lost. LOL. Just not sure I want to pay rack rate. Of course knowing me I am a Disney sucker and probably will. Hope you eventually get what you want. And I hope everyone else has better luck than I am.
