Bounce Back Questions

We've never done a Bounce Back offer, so I have two questions.

1) I am going in January/February of this year and wanting to book a trip for the following February. Do the offers ever extend into the next calendar year?

2) If the answer to the first questions is no, I have a stay booked for November - can the discount be applied to an existing reservation? I could always cancel and rebook, but that brings it's own set of headaches (although the savings would ultimately be worth it).

1. The room discount offer this early in the year will be for dates later this year. It has traditionally not included dates for the following year until sometime in October, after the free dining offer expires.

2. You can apply it to an existing reservation with the usual restrictions: same room type, resort & dates available with the discount. If you want to change from room only to package or vice versa, that requires a new reservation tho.

The good news, when you go in November, there should be a bounceback offer available for next Feb, so hopefully you'll be able to take advantage of that one!

One other thing to think about: depending on how long you are staying each trip, upgrading to an annual pass might make sense. There are often AP hotel discounts which may be better than the bounceback. I just switched a YC stay in May from a bounceback rate to an AP rate & saved an exta 5% ($300!).

Edit to add: just checked the current bounceback dates on another thread. Looks like there are no dates available for November.

Thank you! Yes, I'm definitely upgraded to an Annual Pass - I have two definite trips planned this year and two in the works for next year, so I'm upgrading as soon as I check in on my upcoming trip :).

Does the current BB offer include any dates in late Oct or early Dec?

Thank you!

Thanks!

Will there still be a BB for the following year in Dec? I am thinking of booking a BB from my BB. LOL!

There should be a room only bb for Dec. 2018 if you travel Dec. 2017. That's been the trend anyways. We often book bb's from our bb's. :thumbsup2

Anyone have a photo of the current bounceback offer?

I'd like to see the specifics.

Is the current bounce back likely to be the same be offered the end of March when we arrive?

I haven't seen a printed brochure for the current offer. When we were there in September, the offer wasn't a brochure, just a long, thin sheet tucked in the resort info packet. In December, there was no bounceback info in the room. There wasn't even resort info in the room! Someone reported talking to a few management types who said the resort info/ brochures were being eliminated. :confused3 I had no problem booking the offer by calling Ext 8844 from my room.

This is the info copied from another thread:

If Disney follows the pattern of the last several years, this should be the offer until free dining starts sometime in August.
