could someone tell me about a "typical" bounce back offer. We have never been offered and was wondering if Disney offers them all the time? What restrictions there might be? Etc etc. any feedback would be appreciated

A "typical" bounceback offer will be found in the welcome packet in your room if there is one available during the time of your stay. There may be times when no bounceback is offered.

The terms vary with the offer but there are some common restrictions:

• You must be currently registered as a guest to book a bounceback.
• You can call from your room or your cellphone.
• Any adult who is staying on your current reservation can be the lead name on the future reservation.
• A deposit is required at the time that the reservation is made.
• You cannot change your dates or resorts.
  
• You cannot change the lead name on the reservation but other guests can be changed.
  
• You can add people to the reservation (or remove them) as long as you do not exceed the room occupancy limit.

When we were there two weekends ago, the bounceback offer was in the packet in the room with the resort info, etc. You dial #8844 from your resort room phone. I think it was for "free dining," with selected dates next year, but I could be wrong. I briefly looked at it.

It's not that you haven't been offered; they are almost always available, it's just that (like me) you were unaware of how to take advantage. The current bounceback offer, which I think expires the end of this month, is for free dining during selected weeks of 2017. After that, the next bounceback offer should be discounts for certain times next year. You can also find some previous bounceback offers and what dates they were good for on there.

If you don't see a flyer in your room, just call the extension listed in the post above and ask.
