I posted this under the regular Resort Board, but probably should have posted here.

I have a Bounce Back trip booked.
We have APs.
We want to add the Dining Plan.

I just called to add it and was told that we have to add one-day tickets in order to do so.

Is this a new policy? We have done this in the past and I don't remember having to add a ticket.

TIA.

If you are using a bounceback offer and not a passholder discount, then that is why you have to add the one-day ticket. You can book a room/DP pkg thru the passholder site but the bounceback offer you are using is probably for the general public staying at the resorts. You would either need to book rack rate as a passholder or wait for a passholder room discount to be announced.
Hope that makes sense. :)

Thanks!

That's probably what we did last time (changed from the Bounceback to the AP discount).

The pp is correct. BB offers and other discounts offered to the general public require a minimum ticket purchase when adding the DDP, regardless of whether or not you are an AP holder. In order to get the DDP with that offer, you would have to purchase the minimum of a 1 day base ticket for everyone on the reservation. You would need to book an AP + Dine package in order to avoid the extra ticket purchase.

Not sure if you know this or not (I just found out yesterday) that you can use those tickets you get as a down payment on your AP renewal if you wanted to do that, that way they are not wasted. :goodvibes
