Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge

Hi, Disney Friends,

I have just booked our first trip using our DVC points over at the Wilderness Lodge Villas for Easter 2017 and I wanted to know what your reviews are on the Studio type rooms over there since this is my first time staying with DVC. We had looked into the Polynesian Villas, but it was almost double the points and i didn't think it was worth the splurge.

Also, does anyone know if the Copper Creek Villas will be open by April so that I can possibly change over if there are bookings available? Thanks in advance!

No one knows when Copper Creek will open; no one even knows what room types will be offered there yet. There has been no condo declaration filed yet. Most DVCers expect the point requirements to be in the range of BLT when they come online.

A lot of us love VWL, but many have been avoiding it during the construction. The new pool will not be done by April, and you have roughly a 50-50 chance of a construction view.

Very unlikely Copper Creek will be open by April. They have not even started selling points yet. Summer at the earliest.

That is what I thought, but you never know, LOL.... Maybe next trip they'll start selling the points! Hopefully they're just wrapping it up with construction by the time I visit in April.
