and now I'm thinking I should have just not done it at all. I sat through one of those timeshare presentations at the Tempus Palms resorts. Beautiful resort, loved it. I wasn't going to buy while on vacation though, but we were looking into it seriously. We kept telling them we weren't going to buy until we could go home and look into it some more..."the deal doesn't last, we can't give keep this price for you, once you leave it goes up..." Of course, the more we resisted, the lower the price kept going down until they offered us a sample package. Well, I bit and bought it. The package included 2-3 getaways and one week a the resort, for a two bedroom standard. All of this is good for two years.
Well, I made my reservations yesterday and the rep tells me that for the price that I'm paying, it's for a one bedroom. I take out a copy of my contract and it says specifcally two bedroom standard. He tells me that he has to request a the actual contract from another department and won't be able to call me until Monday to tell me the result. I hope it goes alright. Makes me seriously think that I should have just done sky auction or stuck with priceline. I just really hate it when I'm planning something and it hits a snag that I thought I took care of. Well, at least I still have the contract and it does specifically say that it's for a two bedroom. I'm thankful for that.
I just wanted to see if anyone has ever had any experiences with this kind of thing, but either way I knew you all would be able to empathize.
