Maybe so ... was there in May, July, and September last year after the electronic implementation and they were all over it 7/8 times out of 10 - anywhere where we tried to squeeze a discount. Then in January at Topolinos, Citricos, California Grill, Disney Springs Disney Stores, Merch Shops in park - where you would think they would be on top of it - notta ...

It’s strange how inconsistent it is. I have never had any luck with not having to show it. I will say that a few times I didn’t need to show my license but pretty much 90% of the time with all my trips since this started..I think it’s been 8 trips?…

I guess we will see my experience next week.

Enjoy the trip! I am still recovering from a few weeks ago - picked up a very nasty cold halfway through the trip (we drove down) - so likely picked it up around the parks somewhere based on timing.

And for what it's worth, CMs seem lax on checking it anyway. Was in Disney two weeks ago and amongst the 10s of transactions - where I said I was "DVC", I got the discount without showing proof in all but two situations. This was anywhere from merch, quick-service, signature, or other eligible venues.

Table service (non signature) would have been our applicable experience - some I equate to quick-service but that's in my mind i suppose

Out of curiosity, is it letting you book Riviera inventory?

That's a big negative on being able to book Riviera.

When they first switched to digital mine said Y for about 90 days. They eventually updated it in the proper ND. Where ever the entry in the database it is, it seems to take a bit to make it there.
