I would rather (if its affordable to you) put one in the layaway somewhere (Kmart and Walmarts layaway is 60 days) and get a DVD with 2 LCD screens and attach them to the headrest in your car/van/SUV.

We bought a system from Merconnect (Canadian company), it broke down after 3 months. Returned it to their UK office, who claim they never received it!!!!
I can feel a trip to Walmart coming on in a few weeks!!!

FYI On most airplanes.. There is one cigarette lighter power box in each row of seats!!!!
It is usually underneat the middle seat...

As I tried looking for an outlet at Chicago O'hare airport and they are few and far between and usually you need a few hours to give the battery a good charge...


So you can just go and purchase the cigarette lighter power cord and not have to worry about it..

For those that went with the dual screen DURABRAND at Wal Mart, did you choose the one that has two completely seperate screens or the one with the unit and additional screen. I cannot decide between the two. The latter says it has a battery, where the first one doesn't...can I buy a battery for the first one?

Anyone understanding my rattling on....

i have not brought one yet but it is on the list i figured it could keep daughter quiet on plane and i can use it for the room and on the ship because my daughter only wants to watch disney at disney
