Bought 206 Boardwalk points

We are presently enjoying our annual 3 week stay over Christmas New Year period.

Yesterday I enquired about a resale of BWV points, they were available with our use year, the current points already used, $81.00 per point. Also enquired to our DVC guide, they had plenty available at $92.00 per point. After a calculation of the costs, including the value of the full points with Disney and the lack of transcation fees, and the chance of not getting the resale through, we were signed up within several hours. Disney accepted Amex for the full purchase, so that was an added bonus with the FF points.

Loved the bonus with Disney of the new member guide book, DVC bag, DVD, pins, ice creams and photo.

We now own 700 total BWV points and are very happy with our investment.

I did a closer calculation of the resale vs Disney prices, in our case it worked out cheaper to purchase through Disney, $600.00 cheaper with the value of the missing points at $7.50 each and the value of Frequent Flyer points on the credit card payment.

We started with 170 points in late 1999, and built up from there, the initial points were expensive at that time, our points were US $11,050. The Australian dollar was only $0.49 then, now $0.75

On our trip in Dec. I added 120 SSR points to our measly 50. So now I am also the proud owner of a $10,000 beach bag!!!!!!
