How do all of you parents with babies manage the bottle issue while at Disney? Do you just wash them in your hotel room? Anyone know if there are any disposable ones on the market?

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't read closely enough and I thought it said, "Battles"! I was looking for something to popcorn:: to pass the afternoon. Always up for a good dysfunctional family thread -- always curious to see if anyone's extended family is as crazy as dh's ... or mine :duck:

I don't have a baby so I'll just slink back out...:tiptoe:

Is your baby on formula? When my youngest was on formula, I called Enfamil and ordered a case or two of the ready to feed single-serve nursette bottles. I had them shipped directly to the resort and bell services brought them up to the room when we checked in.

We brought two and a little dish detergent in a bottle and just washed them in the room. It was pretty easy.

Playtex does make a disposable liner/bottle system. I used it for my son and loved it. Avent recently started selling them too but I have not tried them. Good luck!

I bought a little bottle of dish soap and brought it with us, and just washed them in the room. I laid out a towel and dried them overnight, worked like a charm. You can also rinse them out in the baby care station, if I remember correctly. :)

I am planning on just washing in the hotel room - I am bringing an old bottle brush that I can just throw away when we are leaving.

From DIS I got a great tip....if you take bunch of wipes and soak them in liquid dishsoap then them dry a little and carry them in a ziplock. It worked great! No worries about spilling the dish soap in luggage and I then used a washcloth to clean then & dried on a towel. I took 3 to rotate.

Ooh love it! I had dish detergent spill in luggage once and it SUCKED!

Yep, little dish soap on the wipes. I used powder when I went with 6 month old DD. Bottled water leave in the stroller the sun will make it warm enough for a baby. Baby care centers are available for warming the bottles and cleaning while in the parks. It was EASY. the easiest trip with a child you will EVER have. OOh don't forget the round powder dispenser that measure's out your powder. You can find them at target, wal-mart,babies r us.

Medela also makes Quick Clean wipes to clean breast pump parts/etc. that I have used on DD bottles when we've been out. I figure if they are safe on the pump parts they are safe for the bottles themselves. They work great.

I used the Platex disposable bottles with all 3 of my kids. After reading this I guess it was very helpful in Disney. I never paid attention because that was ll we ever used, but that is a great way to go. At night I washed the nipples and rings and dried them on a towel. Went with a 9 month old and a 10 month old no problems...

These wipes are great. I used this a lot with DS and DD. Very handy.

Great suggestions! Thanks everyone!

I love the tip on leaving the water to warm in the sun. Getting it warm enough will not be a problem at the end of May! :thumbsup2
