Bottled Water

Has anyone had bottled water shipped to their resort boefore they left on their trip? I had heard you could do this through Amazon.com, but therir is no plain water - only flavored stuff. Any tips would be appreciated. We leave in 2 weeks.

Try someplace like Staples on-line. I see 24-packs of Arrowhead and Poland for $7.50. They also offer FREE delivery! (I tested it by choosing OKW's zip code, placing the 24-pack case of Poland in my shopping cart and going to checkout--delivery was listed specifically as FREE).

for those of you that have had Staples deliver your water, when did you order it? I just was playing around with it and if I place an order right now, it will arrive december 4th. I'm not checking in till december 11th. Also, when I put in the Wilderness Lodge's address, it says that the city doesn't match the zip code. I used Lake Buena Vista and 32830. What am I doing wrong?

When they deliver the water, do they hold it for you at the check in desk, or do they see your name on the delivery slip and deliver it to your room?

They have Nestle's Pure Life water, 24 pack for $6.24 with free shipping, that is an awesome deal that I would like to take advantage of.

I ordered from Staples on Saturday-it says it should arrive 12/6, and I'll be there 12/8. I got that error because I was putting infomation (resort front desk) rather than the street address in the first address line-could that be your problem?

another nice thing (I purchased these to be delivered at my hotel so I'll get them later this week!) is to buy those water bottles with filters from purewater 2 go for example.

They filter and remove the bad taste from water that you can get at counter service places or drinking fountains. It's probably cheaper and best for the environment than buying lots of water bottles)

I would call and arrange it. I had no problem when I called. They will hold it for you at the front desk. Make sure you have them write your reservation number and the dates of your stay on the shipping label.

We were at WDW back during Labor Day week and we ordered our water from Costco.com the week prior. It was delievered within like 2 days of our order and shipping charges were included. I also ordered for a friend who went to WDW during Halloween.

We addressed it to the resort and then attention guest **guest name** arrv on **date** (fill in info between **). We didn't place our reservation # on the order nor did we call and alert the resort ahead of time. They just held it for us and when we checked in we asked about our package being held and they brought it right out!

I'm looking at the costco.com for water. This is looking like a good idea. I've been stressing about the water situation. We were going to get groceries delivered so we could get a case of water but the websites all have minimum purchase amounts and we don't need to spend $40 on a bunch of stuff.

We arrive at the hotel on Thursday, January 24th. Costco's website says it takes 2-3 business days. What day do you guys think I should order it? Monday? Or the Friday before, to be on the safe side?

I had that same problem when I ordered my water for our trip on Nov.24. I put "Lake Buena Vista" on the second address line and "Orlando" on the city line. It was delivered to our room - no problems.

I read this post and ordered just the filters for standard water/soda bottles. They'll even fit most 2 liter bottles as well. I tested them out yesterday/today and so far its pretty cool. I like the idea of using only one bottle and basically creating no trash.

Another option.....we never have water delivered. I put 3 water bottles in a gallon ziplock back and put 6 bottles in each suitcase (so as to not make it too heavy). There are 4 of us and we each have a suitcase so we end up with a case of water. At the end of our trip we end up with more room in our suitcases for souvies. We have never had a problem with leaks.
