I'll be going to Orlando in January with my husband, and we've never been to Universal before. We only have one day, which we'd originally planned for IOA, since the whole point of going was to see WWoHP. However, now I'm rethinking. In looking at the rides at IOA, it seems an awful lot are water rides, or at least rides with the potential of getting wet. Being January, we're not too keen on that idea. About all I see that we'd be interested in other than the HP stuff is Spiderman and Jurassic Park, and maybe Cat in the Hat just for kicks. Is it silly to get a two-park ticket for that one day, with the added front of the line pass, to help us ride as much as possible? The park closes at 6 PM that day (I'm guessing, they haven't posted for sure yet, but it seems logical based on past closing times), so I don't want to end up buying two-park tickets we wouldn't have time to use. I'm also wondering how much time we'd spend at WWoHP, since we're both big fans and would want to do as much as possible.
Adding a day to Universal isn't possible, we're at Disney the rest of the time. The FotL pass is a given, we were planning to get it anyway since it's so cheap during the time we'll be there.
Anyone been in this situation before?
