Both parks in two days? Break between Disney and Universal?

Is it possible to fit both parks into two days? We'll be visiting Universal/IoA after 3 days at Disney. Technically we have 3-day tickets for universal, but and I'd like a little break in between.

Would it be a mistake to hang out at our Disney hotel until checkout, and then head over to Hard Rock? Maybe we could play at the pool until our room is ready and then dress to spend the evening at universal or IoA.

We're traveling the 2nd week of June and have universal tickets for Tu/ Wed/Thurs.

Opinions?

Thanks,
Valerie

You can do HIGHLIGHTS of both parks in one long day. You wont get both parks done entirely..It also depends on what you want to do at the parks

If it was me, since I already had a 3-day ticket, I would probably still try to hit the parks that evening for a few hours. You would be surprised how much you can get done with Express Pass in that short of a time frame. Although, I am not sure when you are going to see how late the parks are open.
