Here are some pics from what we are calling the Boston Massacre as the Red Sox outscored the White Sox 46-7 in the 4 game weekend series. These pics are from Saturday.

Here is the view from our seats in right-center

Ortiz hit a dribbler down the line. Buerhle fielded it and Ortiz ran away from him towards the dugout and refused to get tagged. It was the last time the White Sox laughed that day.

A very familiar sight all weekend-Ortiz & Manny on base

Konerko homers...in the bottom of the 8th after it is already 12-0!

That's all. Let me know what you think and GO CUBS GO!!!

Yep that sure was a poundin. Though it looked more like the White Sox just gave up.

Nice pics. I'll make it out to Chicago one of these days to see some games.

Now we just need the Red Sox to take 1 of the next 2 games from the Yankees to help deflate their hopes. (if the take 1 of the next 2 it will be a 7 game lead, if the Red Sox take 2, then were talking a 9 game lead).

Thanks. At least it was a nice day.

When you come to Chicago try to plan it so you can go to both ballparks. It's nice we have the old and the new here.

GO CUBS GO!

Oh I'll definately do that. I may even make the drive up to Milwaukee to check out that park as well.

Eventually I want to get to every MLB park in the country. I have 7 now (Fenway, Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Camden Yards, Sky Dome [or what ever it is called now], Comerica Park and Turner Field. Saw, but never went into Olympic Stadium in Montreal and Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta. For Fulton County Stadium I had GREAT seats for the game on August 14, 1994. That ended up being the first game canceled that year for the lockout/strike!!). In 2 weeks I'm making a trip down to Phily to catch a game there. So I'll be up to 8. I was hoping to add on Pitt and Cleveland, but I have to much going on around the house so I'll have to save them for another time.

Kyle,

Sorry the White Sox tired out the Red Sox and they didn't have anything left for the Yanks. I'm hoping for a Red Sox-Cubs WS.:sad2: SI had a stat this week that it had been 85 years since a team scored at least 10 runs per game in a 4 game series. Something positive for the WS pitching staff to look back on at the end of the year.

Nice pics. We were at that game, too. Gee, thanks for reminding me what a shellacking it was... :) I thought that 8th inning would never end. This year I'm borrowing a phrase from the north-siders - "Wait 'til next year." :earboy2:
