We're arriving at Disney the evening of 11/25 and thought it would be too late to do much as far as entering a park so I heard about this restaurant on the way and wondered if anyone had been there to give me a review. There are 3 in the Disney area so I'm assuming that means they must be pretty popular. Thanks!

I have been to the one in 192 and at International Drive. Food is decent not gourmet. Basically you pay the buffet price and can eat as much lobster and sea food as you can. Personally I think the one at Intl Drv had better service.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World says it's pretty good, as long as you grab a fresh lobster as they come out of the kitchen. They don't "age" well sitting on the steam tables. Haven't eaten there myself.

We had read mixed reviews but we are not very picky so we gave it a try last month. We aboslutely hated it. We really thought it was gross- it was the only restaurant we regretted eating at. Now, Texas de Brazil- oh my! I still have dreams about that place!

We went to the one on International Drive back in 2002 and we ended up eating there twice. Not everything was great, but if you're there for the lobster like we were, it is worth the money. We went up as they brought them out and they were very tasty (we drown them in butter). The lobster bisque was also delicious. I think they might have even had some kind of meat carving station but I may be getting my restaurants mixed up as it was five years ago :) We'd go back there again except since I had my DD I am now allergic to lobster :confused3 :sad2:

We have gone to the one on 192 and it was GROSS! I was very skeptical about the hygiene of the place. The Lobster wasn't that great either, very rubbery. I think I remember it being over $30 per person which wasn't worth it at all. I would say go to Cape May Cafe in Disney at the Beach Club, for the unlimited steamed clams and muscles........... Yummmm much better.

We went there in June....won't be going back. I'd give the place a "D".

Ick. We've been a couple of times because my husband was raised in Boston and misses his lobster (living in the Northwest now) but even he has conceded that it's not good. And, they serve it with a melted butter blend. Not real butter. Very rubbery. The other food is just steam table food. We've tried the other all you can eat lobsters in the area and found them to be worse. And, I agree that it just doesn't feel clean. It could also be what you're use to, but if you've had good lobster, ie- New England, then I don't think you'll like it. We don't go anymore, but..... just our opinion.

Since we are from Kansas (landlocked) and don't have access to good lobster or seafood (only frozen) we enjoyed the Boston Lobster Fest. I can see that it isn't the best quality seafood, but like I say...it is as good as we are used to getting. If you go before 4 or 4:30pm you can get the early bird special (at least we could the last time we went). It was worth checking into because it saved us about $5 a person. I didn't waste my time on any of the "normal" food....I went straight for the lobster, crab legs and shrimp.

See my post on the other Boston Lobster thread; the sanitation here is questionable.

Cheers!
