Has anyone gone to the Boston Lobster Feast restaurant before? How was it is & is it worth going offsite for? Was is expensive? There is a website but no prices listed... just curious if anyone has info?
TIA :)

Yes, we have been to one not to far from WDW a couple of years ago. Dont quote me on this but I think the buffet was around $28 for an adult(or I think you can order off a menu). The selection was OK, sea food, meat, salads, desserts. For the most part, the quality was good unfortunately the one item that attracted me, all you can eat lobster(1 lb), was not. To me the lobster and some of the crab legs seemed waterlogged like the were sitting in the pots for a while. Perhaps this was an isolated incident. The peel and eat shrimp were good though. Despite the lobster, it didnt keep me from loading up my plate 5 or 6 times! You can miss the restaurant, there is usually a vw with a huge lobster on top parked outside.

Hope this little bit helps!

Every time we go back to Disney I keep wanting to try one of these all you can eat lobster feast. My DH went to one there a couple of years ago while on business and said it was awful. (The lobster part anyway) Same reasons stated above. It must have been bad because he hasn't wanted to go back. I, however, think I could find plenty on the buffet to keep me happy.

I went to the Boston lobster feast in 2004 with a friend. Neither of us like the food very much, the lobster and crab legs is what attracted us, and I didn't even eat the lobster, it had no flavor and as a previous poster wrote, was very water logged. The crab legs were small, not very much meat. IMO it was not a great deal, even though it wasn't very expensive, the quality of the food wasn't very good. Sorry to tell you this if you had your hopes up (I know we did) but I wished we had looked at reviews before hand and saved our money for something else. Also, I did not notice where you're from, I was living in NY when we went, and had higher expectations for seafood. Now I live in AZ, and see that this waterlogged, not as fresh seafood is what everyone is accustomed to, so it may or may not be what you expect too. Well hope this helped, let us know what you decide!

Thanks for the replies.... I ended up doing a google and found some reviews. It was pretty mixed, all said pretty $$ and that the lobster(which is why you go there) either wasn't good or soo small it wasn't worth the time to pick at it..
We will probably skip it and keep our Kona ressie ( this was the day we were thinking)
