**ACK** I can't decide!!

I did a LOT of research on which hotel DH and I should stay at for our weekend at the beginning of June. I ended up finding an awesome rate of $149/night at the Seaport and I found many raving reviews on this hotel. It's right on the water, the service is supposedly outstanding, and it's directly across the street from the dock of the Spirit of Boston, which is the dinner cruise we'll be doing on Saturday night. Also, the front desk at the Seaport told me they will have complimentary champagne waiting for us in our room AND upgrade us to a suite if there is one available.

BUT!

I also LOVE the location of the Boston Marriott Long Wharf and just found the rate of $199/night on their website!!

Can those of you who have stayed at either of these hotels please tell me about your personal experiences??? Thanks!!

Both are on the water, and I think you can't go wrong at either. I would save the mobey and use the extra to eat at the North End every chance you get. The food there is just so awesome :)

I ADORE the Seaport. The Marriot is OK, but there is something about the Seaport that just calls to me. (Maybe it's the Crab Claws at the Barking Crab, lol) And you can water taxi over to Long Wharf.

We stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf last summer and loved it! The hotel is awesome and the location is great. You can walk to Quincy Market/Fanueil Hall, the aquarium is right outside the door as is Legal Seafood and many other places of interest. It's a great hotel and a great location. Either way, Boston is a great city and you will have a fabulous time! Have fun....:Pinkbounc

The Long Warf is great because it is right near the Aquarium which is cool and whale watches leave from there which are also cool. But my vote is almost always to save money..the North End has some great restaurants but also try Newbury Street for dining and shopping..it's the best!
