Hi Everyone,

I am reviving this thread so we can talk about one of my favorite subjects... Food!!

Even if you are not joining us for volunteering you are welcome to join us for lunch.. Who wants in and where are we going peeps!!

Also Derek (my DH) has to work that day so he cannot make it. I know it is to late to sign up to still "get a day" but I would love to fill his spot. Anyone intrested in joing us as we now have room for 1 more.

We're going to join you for lunch...we're volunteering the next weekend though.

Didn't someone suggest an italian place in Groton?

We will be there, 5 of us. Is there any chance of a place for lunch that might have a gluten free option? If not then only 2 will eat and the rest will just visit...

~Erika

I am sure we can find someplace Gluten free Erica. Lets see who is in and we will go from there!!

I don't know about gluten free, but another option is J.P. O'Hanlon's, which is an Irish pub a few doors down from the place itself. There web site has an email address and phone number so I'm sure we could check:

http://www.jpohanlons.com/

We're in for two adults two children wherever...

Thanks for the suggestion. I emailed them and they said they can put together something gluten free. The regular menu looked really good too but where ever you all decide will be great!
Thanks!

Waking this thread up...we're a week away! Do we have a plan for lunch yet?

I had suggested Fulhios Cucina in Groton but I am open to anyting.

THe Cucina is in Groton center and it is attached to a nice liquor store. It is also a BYOB place.

I am happy to help out in anyway I can!

I just checked their website and they don't open until 4 on Sundays. What time are we thinking for lunch? The last volunteers are done at 1PM. Would they open early for a group? If not I think another suggestion was J.P. O'Hanlon's they open at noon on Sundays. Whatever you guys want to do is fine :).

Thanks for checking Erica. i will point a few people over to this thread via facebook but I think JP's is the way to go. It is right there and those of us done early can head over when we are done to wait for you guys.

Lets see if we can get a number by Wednesday to warn them we are coming.

I feel kind of bad...I won't be able to make either the volunteer opportunity nor lunch. My new job has me working weekends.

I'll miss you all. :(
