I checked our fares for June, 2006 and compared them to the ones I already bought thru Song. Song beats them hands down for price. If anyone is looking for flights for next Summer, nows the time to book!

Yes Jillpie...I am going from 7/22 to 8/5 so have been keeping an eye on airfares. For my dates, JetBlue came in $20 more pp each way than Song. I plan on booking next week with Song. I know they are in bankruptcy, but since I have summers off my schedule is a bit more flexible and am willing to take the risk of having to book other low cost airline options (Air Tran Airways comes to mind) if needed.

Unfortunately, JetBlue has been a lot higher than Song for us for the last couple of trips. And we love JetBlue. I even have a $300 credit that I might wind up losing if I don't use it soon. We were hoping to fly them from Boston to MCO for President's Week, but Song came in hundreds of dollars cheaper (for 5 rt tickets) even counting in the $300 credit that I added to the cost of our tickets. I just couldn't justify flying JetBlue for that. So we are going with Song and all their flight switching. As long as I get a direct flight, the times don't really bother me.

I'm always keeping my eyes open for a quick trip on JetBlue so I can use the credit.
