Boston Disers! Have you used the brand new Terminal A yet?

Logan Airport opened up their new terminal for Delta last week. I was just wondering what you thought of it (ease of checking in, security, food!, cmon the important stuff). We'll be there in a little over 3 weeks, April school vacation, can't come soon enough!!!!!!

Jill--I think it only opened last week. Hopefully someone will have a report soon, but they may not even be back yet.

I do know that our car service driver that we used back in February said all of the car service drivers were VERY excited about it, since they can exit Terminal A, and get right back to 93, they don't have to do the 'Grand Tour' of Logan to get back out.

I have to wait til next February to use it.......

Deb, that is great info about the drivers. The ones we use are always complaining about term. C and all the rules. I wonder about the pickup on our return to Boston though...you know how we always have to go upstairs and go out and meet them in that parking lot? I sure hope its alot easier and we just have to walk out the door this time. We'll see. Do you also notice how much nicer it is in Orlando, when they greet you with a sign? Nothin like that happens in Boston! You just cross your fingers you get home in one piece!!

I haven't yet. I am flying Delta in 27 days! Also school vacation, we may be there at the same time. Looking forward to seeing it though!

Isn't that the truth!!!!! When we came home from Feb school vacation, we were walking out of Term C to meet our driver (They were all huddling in that narrow little hallway), but it took us over 30 minutes to get out of the GARAGE!!!!! It was the Friday of vacation week, but still.........

You'll love the new terminal! I haven't personally been there but several associates have and it beats anything out there.

also curious. We are using a limo for our June trip. Would love to hear comments.

You guys need another limo co. My company always meets us with a sign at Logan, no matter what terminal we fly into.

Granted, at Term B&C we need to go outside, but they always greet us.

Can anyone recommend a limo/taxi service for 2 adults / 1 12 year old from North Shore to Logan? Don't think it is worth using Peabody Logan Express with 3 people and cost of leaving car for 10 days.

Terminal A is great, I work at Logan. Moving sidewalks from Central Parking, Limo pick-up on the lower level. Best bet is to get there early for your flight, some great places to eat, Legal Seafood Test Kitchen, Jasper Whites Summer Shack. You could kill a good hour just looking at all the shops and places to eat.
