Borrowing question

i have a december use year, i borrowed my 2010 points for my november 2010 vacation. At 11 months out can i borrow my 2011 points for my vacation in 2011? which my 11 months out would be june 2010 which is still my 2009 use year right? or am i just confused?

June use year: for a trip that is to occur anytime between June 1, 2011, to May 31, 2012, you can call 11 months out to reserve and borrow points from the June 2012 use year. Thus, for example, for a trip in July 2011, you can call in August 2010 and borrow points for that trip from the June 2012 use year.

It sounds like your 2011 trip will be in May 2011, is that correct? If so, then if falls within your 2010 UY (Dec 1, 2010 - Nov 30, 2011). Your Dec 2010 points are valid for that stay but if you have already committed them to another trip, then yes, you can borrow from your Dec 2011 Use Year for that trip.

While you will be in your 2009 UY when you call to make our May 2011 reservation, that really doesn't matter. What does matter is that you have enough points in the same UY as your travel dates at the time you make the reservation. Those can be points that belong to that UY and/or points you have banked from the prior UY and/or points that can be borrowed from the following UY.
