borrowing points

HI, Happy Holidays to all. I know this may be jumping ahead a bit, but I have a question about borrowing points for next December. My user year is September. I get 150 points. I have used my 2005 sept. points(124 points of my 150) for a trip in july 2006. I would like to go again in December 2006(12/26/06-12/30/06). I can book this at my home resort on January 30th 2006. My question is, I will need to borrow my 150 points that will not be available until sept. 2006. You must complete your travels on borrowed points by the end of the use year you borrowed into. Does this mean that I must complete travel before august 2006 since I am booking in jan. 2006 for dec. 2006. Or, am I borrowing into my 2006 use year since I am going in dec. 2006 even though I am booking it in Jan. 2006 which is technically still my sept. 2005 to august 2006.
Sorry this is so long but I am a little confused about which is the use year I am borrowing into. Thank you in advance for all of your help. I always read these boards and I know I can count on you for help.

As I understand YOUR points usage is not when you book but when you travel .So your DEC 06 trip will be in your SEPT06 use year so you won't be borrowing.
I think this is what you want correct.

Also if you only used 124 of your 150 points what are you doing with the rest if not useing them by Aug.06 I would bank them for your Dec trip as well instead of losing them.

I think this point causes more confusion that anything else for new members. Your points don't "drop" into your account on the first day of your use year. They are already there for use for stays within the use year that your stay falls into. Since you have a September use year, 2006 points would be current year for a 12/06 stay and you could even borrow 2007 points when you call next month. Everything is based on date of stay. As tmt said, you would need to bank the remaining 26 points for 2005 if you are not going to use them by 8/31/06 date of stay.
