Borrowing points

I’m sure I should know the answer, but I don’t.
If I pass ROFR there will be 114 pts for 2021. Then double points, 400 in feb 2022. I’m wanting to book something in January but I’d be 5-6 pts shy. Am I able to borrow or was there a deadline?

You can borrow what you'll need for the January reservation. The only thing is when you travel that late in your UY you want to be 100% sure that booking will not need to be cancelled.

Borrowing can only happen when you book a trip so there is no deadline like with banking,

You can also only borrow what is needed to finish the reservation so if all you need is 5 or 6, that is all you would be allowed.

However, you can borrow points as many times as you want during the UY for as many trips that you are booking!

The question is what will be available to book once those points are finally loaded into your account - resale seems to take 3 months right now and you haven't passed ROFR yet.

I’m hoping for one night in a poly bungalow for the end of a stay we already have booked. If they’re not available then I’ll just sell the points or lose them. I wasn’t expecting to get to use them, so it’d just be an added bonus.

Lets hope it is! I am so waiting for being able to do that…hopefully next year!
