Borrowing points?

Can you borrow points from the next year and book your trip for the next year? I don't know if that makes any sense, but all the info on booking with borrowed points would help out a lot...

When you call MS they will look at your account and borrow the points for you if needed, and yes you can reserve a vacation in the next year. The points have to be available at time of travel not time of booking per se.

You borrow points when you go to make a reservation and don't have enough current UY or banked points in the UY you are traveling.

So, if you are traveling during your 2011 UY, when you call to book that trip, they will use up any banked 2010 UY points 2011 UY points, and then borrow any 2012 UY points you need to complete the reservation.

Remember, eveything is based on the UY of your trip, not the UY you are in when you call.
