That said, keep in mind that some people's 2024 use years overlap other people's 2023 use years. What matters is that the transferred points are valid for the dates the receiving member wants to book. Transferred points retain their use year and resort tags.

They don't overlap. I transferred points to someone a year ago. She just texted me wondering if I had any to spare for a may 2023 trip. I have an Oct UY and between our 2 bedroom trip to kidani in November and an upcoming trip to aulani in March, I'm out of 2023 points. I will have some extra in my 2024 though. Just trying to help someone out. She knows I'm honest and trusts me with the transfer. I know you can bank transferred points because that is what she did with the last set, wasn't sure about borrowing them though.
