Borrowing & Cancelling - a question

I am wanting to book 13 nights in a 1 bedroom for next August, 1 bedroom, BWV, Boardwalk view. In order to book a 419 point trip on Wednesday, I would need to use

114 points already banked from this year
171 points from the year of travel
134 points borrowed from 2010/11


If I subsequently book a 3 night cruise and cancel the middle weekend, I would get back 140 points. I know I can't return the borrowed points to 2010/11, but can i get back current year points and then bank them into 2010/11


Not sure if you need to know to help, but my use year is June and the trip is in August 2009.

Yes you can......if there any cancellations of a portion of your stay just make sure MS uses both the banked and borrowed points first to cover your stay. Anything left over should be current and could be banked.
