Boredom=sappy advice thread

OOOOOOK. i'm bored....so here's the story....me and this girl at my school have been the best of friends for a while now. well we both have made it known that we both like each or what not. she tells me at the beginning of the school year that she wants to wait till she's 16 cuz she's technically not allowed dating till then. She's had two "relationships" that didn't work out cuz of this and she doesn't want to have a third like that. so i'm like definitely that's cool. well we basically are even better friends now (obviously) and it's like a "flirting" (for lack of better word) relationship w/o actually "dating". i totally see where she's coming from but i can't stop thinking about her and that's making the wait till january even harder lol any advice? Thx

but just think if you both like each other enough then waiting won't be a problem.
it will be hard but just think how AMAZING it will be in January!
and you both know how you feel about each other and you've been "flirting" so in a weird way you're already dating? just not making it official!

That has gotta be hard for you, but if you think about it she will be very happy that you waited for her til January. And January isn't that far off. Just continue that flirty relationship of yours for now. It will only get better.

oo that must be tough

i've been in a similar situation but it was more kind of like everybody thought we were dating and we both knew we liked each other and it just didn't turn out that well

so if you really care about each other you'll have the patience to wait

Thx guys. Yea i guess it's not really that long of a wait. I think I can handle it lol The only problem (after this problem i swear I'm done lol) is i cant even basically talk to her more than like a little bit here and there when around her parents or anyone that would talk to her parents.
