So I'm listening to many different podcasts these days and in the one I was just listening to the Podcaster kind of slurred together his first and last names and brought up a mental picture of 2 items. So I thought who else can be named using descriptive words, for example:

A flower + something you do to avoid getting hit= Daisy Duck

I realize not everyone listens to a lot of other podcasts but I think there ar a core groups of popular ones. Also, some won't be perfect spelling but close enough for you to guess. Here's 4 that I can think of:

4th of July's loud piccolo + famous bros. = ?

A device used to weave cloth over a jiggly dessert = ?

In 2012, Feb 22nd-Apr 7th + Spanish for "this"= ?

Male guest of honor at Thanksgiving + an apple with no center = ?

Have fun!!!

Also, please only post 1 answer at a time so others have a chance. Please add some if you can think of any. :cool1:

I'll play!! I don't listen to many others, but have heard some names.

No idea on the first one.

I should ask - do you want us to post our answers? I'd hate to spoil fun for anyone...

Oops, I was typing while you posted. I got my answer.

Here goes:

A device used to weave cloth over a jiggly dessert = Lou Mongello (sp?)

LOOM ON JELLO- yes, nicely done. That's actually the name that was slurred together. :thumbsup2

Not sure on the first one either, but I think I know this one...

Len Testa (Lent+Esta)

Yay, good job. I hope I didn't date/regionalize the first one. The first part is a firework that would hurt your ears. The second part could be written as "Bros." as that is how the company writes it.

I have another one:

Devices that are used to convert the voice to digital signals (very important in podcasting) + a famous, yet cheesy, "cabana" = ?

Fun idea.

The answer to the fourth one is: Tom Corless

Sorry I can't think of one myself. I'll have to put my thinking cap on.

Here's one: Female bird, make(do) over

Ahhh! :thumbsup2 I got the latest one you posted, but I'll let someone else post it.

Here's one more: Dull as in paint or finish, also, 2 x 4, congregation

I have too much time on my hands. :sad2:

Too early/ too little coffee for me to think of any new questions yet!

Ahh, a two-fer.....:goodvibes

This one seems to be hard, so I'll solve it.

Piccolo Pete (I typed in "4th of July Piccolo in Google and it came up with Piccolo Pete right off, so good on everyone for not cheating) + Warner Bros. = Peter Werner. :yay:
