My kids have run out of the good stuff.

I think I just ate the last tootsie roll :sad2:

I think the youngest two have about 40 or 50 pieces left each: skittles, kit kats, m&ms, dove bars, doritos, pb cups and more. I'm only letting them have one piece a day. Of course I get 2 :woohoo: I figure they've got enough candy left to last me another 2 weeks - and I have even begun to tap into oldest DS' candy - he had over 60 pieces on halloween- I'm in candy heaven. :rotfl:

we sold all the yukky stuff to my daughter orthodonotist- he buys it for 1.00 a pound...She has 95 percent of her candy left...she eats it very slowly over the next few months. We just threw out LAST years halloween and Easter candy right before this halloween LOL...she is a pack rat! She loves candy but doesn't like to eat it very quickly.

Too much good stuff left! It calls to me! Anyway, I said Monday whatever is left is going to work with dh.

DD is a candy hoarder- she likes to savor it slowly over a few months. So, there is a lot of good stuff left. Hershey's bars, Snickers, Butterfinger, Kit Kat, Skittles, etc, etc, etc.

I was a real "eat it all in the first 48 hours after Halloween" gal- don't know where DD got the gene for saving hers. Maybe it's an only child thing- no icky brothers/sisters trying to steal your stash...

We don't have a kid's candy bowl, it's just ours. :lmao:

The past 3 years we've only had grandkids (two of them) come to our house trick-or-treating. All the kids in our neighborhood have grown up. But I still buy bags and bags of candy, and make up bags for the kids. I give them to the older grandkids too, even though they no longer go out trick-or-treating. But then we have all this leftover candy. DH loves it though. He's a farmer and they are in corn harvest, so I put candy bags in his lunch sack every day. :)

The only stuff we have left in the bowl now is laffy taffy, nerds and malted milk balls. Everything else (candy bars, Reese's, etc.) is long gone.
