Our day began early at 5:40am when we left home for a four hour drive to Bangor, Maine for cheaper flights. The drive was uneventful , we passed quickly through Customs at the border, parked the truck in the long term lot, proceeded through security, ate a quick lunch, boarded the plane and were airborne by noon.
At 3pm the plane landed under sunny skies in Sanford and we proceeded to the Alamo lot. At this point we experienced our first sprinkle of pixie dust and received a free upgrade to a mid-size. I chose a white Dodge Dart where we stowed our luggage in the backseat and sped off towards WDW and FW.
At FW we were greeted with a hardy " Welcome Home" and advised that our 5th wheel (aka Tiny) was waiting for us on site .

Walked by your site this morning on the way over to see Snowmedic in 2000 loop. Wish I would have known then. I'll try and visit.

When I last left off we had arrived at FW and been assigned to site 632. We had never stayed in this loop before but I must say it is well located between the Settlement and Meadow area, both are a short walk. My only complaint is the newer end is not as well treed as the older end. Fortunately we were in the older end.
DH began by putting the slides out and hooking up the utilities. I did some light housekeeping by setting up the kitchen and unpacking the suitcases
Once we were set up we hung out our sign, jumped in the car and headed for Epcot.
We arrived at Epcot around 6pm and began with a tour on Spaceship Earth. Our stomachs were beginning to rumble so we decided to walk towards World Showcase and check out the Food and Wine offerings. Sadly, we were not impressed by our first choice of the Blackened Chick'n Breast at Terra and decided instead to travel to Norway where we dined at Kringla Bakeries og Kafe.
I enjoyed a vegetable tort and DH stayed with a favourite from past visits the ham and apple sandwich. Yummy!
A quick walk around World Showcase which was busy, but we were able to enjoy the last part of Jim Brickman's concert. We returned to Future World where we used our FP to enjoy Soarin'.
Our energy was starting to wane and it was decided to return to the Fort. A quick stop at the Meadow for milk and bread, back to the RV - lights out by 10pm.

Wish we were still there. I would liked to meet you. Enjoy your holiday.

We were up early to enjoy our first full day at WDW. Ate a quick breakfast, hopped in the car and were off to DHS. It was a busy day at DHS and we were happy that we were there for park opening as we raced( I should say walked with purpose) towards RNRC for a sweet limo ride with Aerosmith. Our next stop was ToT where were used our first FP of the day. In the photo above we are the couple in the middle left that look like we are waiting for a bus. A funny story the couple seated in the front row far left were very funny. This was the lady's first time on ToT and all she knew was that there was a drop. During the pre-show in the library she had a death grip on the nearest piece of furniture convinced that that was were the drop occurred. I am glad to report that she survived the ride and was kind enough not to get a death grip on me.
Starring Rolls Bakery was next where we enjoyed the famous red velvet cupcake, after which we strolled over to the Muppet Theatre. I had not seen the new pre-show with Constantine, I thought it was funny. DH and I had heard about the play area in Wondering Oaken's and as Canadians we were amused by all the little children playing in the Florida version of snow.
It was now time for our second FP which was for Star Tours, I don't recall which experience it was but neither of us was the rebel spy. We checked in for our lunch reservation at Sci-Fi Diner. Brian was our server and we were seated quickly in the back seat of another families car and introduced as hitch hikers. DH enjoyed a chocolate shake, onion rings and salad; I had vegetarian shepard's pie. Delicious !
We used our final FP for TSMM, as usual DH won. The park was beginning to become very crowded and we felt that it was time to leave, so we left and went to Publix for provisions.
The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing at FW. DH prepared BBQ hamburgers for dinner and I tossed a salad. After our meal we drove to DTD for a little retail therapy and dessert at Ghirardelli. Once again we were home to RV and to bed by 10pm.

This morning the goal was to get to MK on time for opening. We were successful and poured into Town Square, up Main Street USA and in our case towards Frontierland. Most of the crowd headed towards Fantasyland to ride SDMT, but we had FPs for the ride later. As we walked along we soon came up to a line of cast members standing across the road. After a strong chorus of howdies and yahoos they advised us to mosey along behind them towards Splash Mountain and BTMRR. A portion of our crowd broke off towards Splash and that was when an amazing thing happened. DH and I found ourselves first in line for BTMRR, and therefore we were first to ride BTMRR on Oct. 25/2014. Now I am sure that achievement must give us some special standing in Diser history but as of yet we have not received any notification , nor been offered any special benefits.
After the wildest ride we headed over to POTC but the ride was down so we continued to HM for a spooky time with hitchhiking ghosts.
Our next stop was the New fantasyland where we shared a cinnamon bun with Lefrou's brew and orange juice. We wondered through the Big Top and rode Under the Sea:Journey of the Little Mermaid. At that time our FP time had come for our first ride on SDMT. We enjoyed the theming of the ride but still would rate BTMRR as our favourite roller coaster at MK.
Our final ride of the morning was Mickey's Philharmagic. The park was becoming busy and the sun was heating things up so we stopped at Starbucks, walked to the boat and enjoyed a leisurely ride back to FW.
The afternoon was passed with lunch, laundry and DH washed the RV.
After a BBQ dinner we returned to MK for the evening where we used FP to ride Splash Mountain and BTMRR. MK was busy that evening probably because there was no MNSSHP and the park was open until midnight. We were back in the RV by 9pm for a relaxing evening of TV and reading.

Y'all are 'way' too calm on TOT! ;) I would have been like the lady next to you! My dh got me on for 1 time only - thought I'd die with all the 'drops' - LOL - never did like elevators since a child! :)

Glad you had a great trip!

Up early breakfast in RV. We were off early for opening at AK, the park was not busy so we walked over to EE to find that the ride was down so we continued on to KS. Not as many animals were out perhaps they had decided to sleep in this morning. Our next stop was FOTLK in it's new location, the show was awesome as usual. At this point we decided to cancel our FPs for AK and book something for later at MK.
DH and I toured through the Maharajah Jungle Trek, we were both yawning, so we decided to return to FW for lunch, rest and relaxation before MNSSHP.
At 3 pm dressed as Mousekateers we left the Party. We made a quick stop at site 715 to introduce ourselves to Gary and Carol( CdnCruiser). DH and I have enjoyed reading their TRs and Gary's blogs on Allears. It was nice to visit with them and discusss our mutual love for all things Disney and FW.
A quick boat ride and we were at MK where we used a FP to ride Winnie the Pooh and then a trip around Future World on the TTA. We had a reservation at the Plaza Restaurant and we enjoyed a yummy meal. After filling our tummies we used our next FP for POTC. The party had started and most people were preparing to watch the first parade, following the sound advice gleaned from the Disboards , we were able to experience BTMRR, Country Bears, Small World, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and a turn around the dance floor at the Villians Dance Party.
We stopped at Starbucks where we purchased hot drinks to enjoy during the Castle Show and Fireworks. Beautiful!
Following the fireworks we were able to secure a fabulous seat on the railway observation deck. The parade was wonderful and we had an unobstructed view while we shared popcorn and treats we had gathered.
After the parade we returned to the RV and were in bed by midnight.
Having now attended both MNSSHP and MVMCP, I would suggest if you can only attend one choose MNSSHP. We had a great time.

PS - having never done either Mickey's Not So... or Mickey's Very Merry... I appreciate the advice if it comes down to one or the other.

. . . travel to Norway where we dined at Kringla Bakeries og Kafe . . . Yummy! . . .
. . . please!
. . . one does not *merely* dine at Kringla Bakeries og Kafe
. . . one savors the delicacies
. . . one bathes in the aromas as they waft over you
. . . THEN, one pigs out
:cool1:

. . . I am sure that achievement must give us some special standing in Diser history but as of yet we have not received any notification , nor been offered any special benefits . . .
. . . so, YOU are the ones
. . . we have held the mass of freebies for you
. . . but, could not figure how to get it across the border (Florida border, not Canadian border)
. . . guess I got an "F" for effort, instead of a "eh" for delivery
. . . trust me, they went to good use
. . . next time . . . . . . . . . . . .
:rolleyes1
