Booking with someone else

Has anyone booked a Disney room with Travelocity or Orbitz? I looked on Travelocity and found POP Century for April 9th-13th. With Disney the only thing available is ASMU. Do I have to pay the whole thing with Travelocity? Can I only pay the deposit like Disney? If anyone has any info it would be a big help.

Not sure about how you book through these two companies but I can tell you this. I booked a package through Disney's online reservations for the Pop Century. We later decided we wanted to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Online, it said there were no rooms available on our chosen dates. I called Disney reservations and told them my problem. She asked me...point blank....if I can get you a room at the Caribbean Beach Resort, will you book it right now? I told her absolutely. She came back and had a room for me at the Caribbean Beach Resort. She told me that they allot a certain number of rooms for travel agents. She pulled a travel agent room for me.

The moral of the story? I would call Disney directly at 407-W-DISNEY. Tell them your story and see if they can get a room for you.
