Booking with Sam's Club?

Anybody booked with Sam's? How was the price compared to others. We used Costco last time and found the price among the best I could find! Had no trouble with docs or anything!

We didn't end up booking with Sam's but we did get a quote from them. Out of the 4 quotes we were seriously considering Sam's was second to lowest. The lowest by a long shot (about $150 lower) was cruise.com but the agent we spoke to gave us some information about cancellations that we knew was incorrect so we shied away from using them (although I know others on this board have had wonderful experiences with cruise.com).

We ended up not going with Sam's because the difference between them and Dreams was only a few dollars and we decided we wanted the Disney expertise that Dreams could provide.

This board is fascinating because people have such varied experiences with booking and getting quotes. Our very limited experience is that DCL was the highest and then pretty much everyone else was around $100-$200 less than DCL. There wasn't a huge price difference between most of the other quotes we received with the exception of cruise.com who, like I said, was about $150 lower than everyone else (although the agent we were speaking to kept insisting that we had to pay our balance by 90 days out, instead of the 60 days DCL requires...so I'm not sure what in the heck was going on there!)

I spoke with the representative at Costco, recently on the telephone, and she told me they discount inside cabins at 5% and outside cabins at 10% of what DCL quotes.

We booked through Costco last cruise and found we had a hard time getting to our agent. Long wait but we did save 10% over DCL. This time I booked through SAMS and have an agent I can get to very quickly and saved about $300 for a party of 5. I have had no trouble with them so far. I would rather save the money upfront and spend it on us! I have not had to do much with any agent once we booked and paid our down payment. Have a great time!
