We are getting ready to book our 10 day FL trip through Allegiant. So I have a few questions!

Is it worth to pay the extra 9.99 each and 12.99-13.99 each for priority boarding and assigned seats?
If not has anyone ever had an issue with not getting to sit with the other party going like my husband or more than likely will we have to sit apart?

They charge 40 bucks per checked bag - is it possible for my husband and I to take just 1 large checked suitcase with our main items, and carry ons and be ok for 10 days? Or should we just go ahead and check 2 bags? Thoughts?

I tend to be somewhat of a nervous flyer - not in flight but just the anticipation leading up to flying....and its just simply because I dont fly enough...I have flown to florida with other major airlines in the past and to Vegas and Hawaii a few times but thats it....so my question is - our flight is only about 45-1hour so is it nice safe comfortable flight?

We fly Allegiant all the time. Have always had good service. I never pay for seating and we have always been put together. If sitting apart would be an issue I would pay. The over head bins in the Allegiant planes are small and fill up fast. If you are one of the last on board you may have to gate check your luggage, not a big deal to us but it is to some.
There are three of us and we are taking one bag to check and each taking a carry-on. One of the main reasons I check a bag is that I must have a certain sunscreen, everything else breaks me out. We are staying 7 days in a condo so we do laundry every other evening. Generally we take four outfits each and make sure that everything matches. We don't do fancy dining so we don't take dress clothes, that saves a ton of room.
Enjoy your vacation!

I noticed it says your from TN - where in TN? We will be leaving from the tri cities airport.

Also is there enough room for a typical carry on size bag or is carry on size need to be restricted to maybe a small duffle?

I'm just west of Knoxville. Flew our of Tri Cities once after attending a graduation at Science Hill. As long as your bag is no larger than 9" H x 14" W x 22" D it will be fine. With other airlines a bag that size will fit in long ways, on Allegiant it has to go sideways, I don't think three will fit in on bin.

We flew with Allegiant during March break and was great. I did not pay extra fees for baggage or seats. We got 4 seats together and each took carry
on bag. We had a washer and dryer at the vacation home we rented.

Flew down on 4/29 from TRI, and it was a great flight. We only did carry-on bags, and did not pay any of the extra stuff. If you have children under 7, you will board right after the priority and assigned seating. There was no problem with us sitting together.

Each of us took one carry-on to store, and one personal. No problems there either. I took a small rolling suitcase. My husband took his bag army backpack. 2 kids took their school backpacks, stuffed. And my oldest took her duffel bag.

I flew Delta to West Palm Beach in Feb, and hated that flight. The one with Allegiant to SFB ws great.

We are flying to Myrtle Beach on allegiant in June. I did pay for seats, but because I have an 8 year old and didn't want to take the chance. What I don't understand is priority boarding. If you pay for seats, why do you need to board first? So we didn't do that.
