Booking with AAA, is the ressie in your name or AAAs name?

I usually book directly through Disney, but I called my AAA agency and they were able to save me $585 on our vacation this time, so why not. My question is does Disney consider the ressie in my name or AAAs name? I'm asking because I want to make sure I'm still on code mailing lists, elligable for upgrades for returning so often and that sort of thing.

I contacted my travel agent at AAA last week when all the 40 percent codes were coming out and they checked with Disney and had nothing for me. They told me if I receive one then they could apply it for me and I asked them if I get one should I call disney directly or contact AAA and they said since I am with them they own my reservation and I need to go through them for any other discounts which is fine with me. As far as receiving offers from Disney, I believe as long as you don't ask to be removed from their mailing lists you will still receive offers from them. Have a good one...

Yes, I know people who have booked through AAA and their agent called and was able to find a pin code attached to their name.

I've only booked through TA's and I just got the 40% off pin code postcard in the mail.

We are not using AAA for our next trip in Sept., but always have in the past. Each time, the reservation was in the TA's name with DH and I listed. My TA, tho really nice< was not into calling multiple times for deals and codes.. so this year we decided to "bounceback" and handle everything ourselves. So far so good, and I love being able to call WDW without going thru TA. MY TA got us decent pricing, but we have done better on our own, especially on airfare (since she charged us a handling fee on the air).
