If you call and order an AP, I thought I read somewhere that you can call "Ticketing" and get your AP info that you need to book the BRP. Is this true? So in theory, you could buy an AP and book your BRP in the same day??

Thanks :flower:

I don't think this is the answer your looking for, but I booked a BR without an AP. We are going to purchase one online. You just call weekdays between 2 and 5 and tell them your dates, and they will book you the BR. Good luck!

Thanks! So they didn't ask for your AP number when you called to book? And why do you have to call between 2 - 5? :confused3

Thanks for the info :)

Funny, when I spoke with a CM at CRO today, she wouldn't give me the BR until I shelled out $420 for an AP. I told her I'm not able to do that today, but would be sure to have it at check in. She replied that in order for her to book it, she has to enter an AP#. She did keep stressing the point about booking it online, unless it is between 2p and 5p eastern. She says this is for folks who don't have internet access or aren't able to do it online.
I should have known when she put me on hold 3 times, disconnected once (she immediatley called me back) and quoted me an incredibly low rate that I should probably try again, but I didn't have time.

So did she end up actually giving you a quote w/out buying an AP? Do you think she would have booked it, too? Just curious...this is all so confusing! :faint:

I posted a few days ago, how I was shocked to get the AP rate without the AP. I had my debit card ready to purchase an AP, and the CM told me just to get it when I got there. I did not even think she would let me book it. I was booked at the WL for Jan. 1-6th. I asked if I would save money if I purchased an AP for that time. I also told her I really wanted to be at the POLY as it is our favorite. She put me on hold for 5 min. She came back and stated that the rate was $273.00 a night but I have to change my dates to Jan. 2-7th. She cancelled my WL and booked it. I even called yesterday to make sure I still have a reservation. I explained to that CM that I did not have an AP yet, and wanted to make sure that the other CM was correct. He told me it was fine. I also checked online and the reservation states" Best Rate Passholder". When I posted the other day that I was shocked that I booked without an AP, someone stated that you can do it between 2 and 5p.m. on weekdays. I hope this helps.

HLAuburn,

She gave me the quote, I said we would like to change our existing AAA discounted ressie to the new AP rate. She said she would also have to sell me the AP at that moment in order to book it. So I just left it with the AAA rate. Too bad I wasn't able to afford an AP right then and there.
