Hi everyone,

We currently have a package booked from May 10-19. We will be staying at CBR for the first time. I have not boooked airfare yet, we are flying from NYC. Jetblue has a promo going now and Kids fly free and you get a room only discount. I compared the reservation I have now with another through Jetblue. The Jetblue package would save us $500+ with the price that airfare is now. Here is an estimated breakdown:

Disney MYW Package 5/10-5/19
9 nights & 9 Day base ticket =$2664.06
Airfare Used same flights as below=$1335.20
Total= $3999.26

Jetblue package5/9-5/18
9 nights & airfare=$2146.84
Undercover Tourist 10 day base tickets=$1284.75
Total $3431.59

Ok so is there something I'm missing? We have always booked our whole package through Disney so I am a little skeptical but the savings would be great. Would it make sense to cancel reservation with Disney and rebook with Jetblue? Has anyone booked a package through Jetblue? If so how did it go? We have never used undercover Tourist and I'm a little nervous. We would have to adjust our dates by 1 day to do the Jetblue package. We will leave and return a day earlier. Our plan was to stay for Star Wars weekend and it begins 5/17, so we will still have 2 days for that. Plus we would get 10 day ticket instead of 9 which would not really affect us but it's still a bonus lol. What does everyone think?:confused3

I would totally do it! We used UT for our tickets 2 years ago with no problems. We are looking at the same promo. Delta also has kids fly free with hotel and tickets included. Last day to book is today though and they want payment in full at the time of booking.

I had no idea about Delta. I just priced it and It is almost the same as JetBlue! Yeah I think I'm going to do it, just nervous about having a middle man. For instance if I wanted to change something I just call Disney, if I book through airline there is no changing or canceling. Also like you said we have to pay in full, where as with Disney I use my Disney Visa.

Thanks so much for your input!

I booked a vacation with jetblue for a universal trip. Saved me some money and had no problems with anything. Didn't have to cancel so I don't know how that works. As far as UT for tickets. Use them all the time. Never any problems. Enjoy your trip. :)

In 2010 I booked a vacation package to Disneyland through Jet Blue. I wouldn't hesitate to do so again. They were great and we had a fairly complicated reservation (Needed two connecting rooms as we have 4 kids). They got it all right down to my tower request at the Disneyland Hotel AND they put up with me changing my mind on the hotel multiple times! :rotfl: Go for it! I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

Thanks guys! I'm watching airfare like a hawk to see if it comes down for the dates we have now. If not I'm gonna book through Jetblue and adjust dates by 1 day. I have until Monday to decide.

Thanks again for the info, I feel better about it knowing it was a good experience.

Happy to hear all the great feedback :thumbsup2 . We have booked a Jetblue vacation package (resort plus flight) for our August trip. While we have flown Jetblue multiple times, we have never booked one of their getaway packages. Like the OP, we saved $350 by booking the resort we wanted (Vistana) and flights together via Jetblue as opposed to separately.
