Booking through French Site?

I'm sorry, I searched but can't seem to find the answer. The French site seems to have the best prices, but when I try to enter my credit card it gets rejected. I've tried entering both my home (US) address and the address of a hotel in Paris. Is it the card issuer that's the problem, or am I doing something wrong?

I have booked a few days ago with the French site and no problems with my German Master Card.

i usually call my card provider first before i book using the french site, because its classed as a foreign transaction.

Thanks all! I didn't think to call the card issuer again because I had already alerted them to the trip and had used it to book other parts of my trip. I called and it worked. Now to add Disneyland Paris to my signature and line up all of the rest of my questions for Disboards!
