Booking through France site if not from France?

I have read you can use any country's website to book for the best rate regardless of where you are from. Is this also true for the France site or do they offer special local deals that you would be expected to show some sort of ID for? I ask because the rates I am seeing when I search on the French page seem much lower than when I checked US, UK, and Germany.

No ID is asked for you just leave the country as France or whatever one you are booking through. Everything is emailed to you but will be in the language of the country you have booked under.

Disney have said it is ok to book under any countries deals regardless of where you live.

@tennisfan is correct.

It would be unlawful (per EU regulations) for DLP to charge a different price based upon the geolocation of anyone within Europe. I believe a subsidiary outside EU could charge specific non-EU fares but no such entity exist.
